Common questions
I think I found a bug.
Email us with your device model, iOS version, and the puzzle number if it's puzzle-specific. A screenshot or screen recording helps enormously. Crash reports are sent to us automatically (anonymously), so for plain crashes you don't need to do anything — but a note describing what you were doing makes the fix faster.
My progress disappeared.
Photoword stores your progress on your device. If you reinstalled the app or moved to a new phone without iCloud backup, the local save may not have travelled. Cloud sync is on the roadmap for a future update — until then, an iCloud backup is the best protection.
How do I get more hint coins?
Solve puzzles to earn coins — every solve adds to your balance. There are no in-app purchases in this version; coins are earned through play.
The puzzle answer feels wrong.
We carefully pick one word that the four photos point to, but language is generous and your answer might be right too. Email us the puzzle number and the word you tried. If it's a fair fit we'll either accept it in a future update or replace the puzzle.
How do I turn off sounds or change the theme?
Settings → reachable from the gear icon on the home screen. Sound, haptics, and theme all live there.
